Poppit sands is the start, or the end of the 186 mile Pembrokeshire coast path, which takes you right around to the coast of Amroth in the south.
The village of Cilgerran is just over a mile away from Ty Canol, famous for its 13th Century ruined castle perched high overlooking the spectacular Teifi Gorge.
Cilgerran has 3 local pubs serving food, Cafe, village shop selling amazing local produce, a canoe centre, post office, garage, wildlife centre with glass house cafe, church and children’s park.
The market town of Cardigan with its 12th Century castle is just over 4 miles away with its bustling high street featuring many antique, local produce and craft shops, ice cream parlour for children of all ages to enjoy. Not forgetting Yums Yums sweet shop for all your traditional sweet requirements, why not relax and enjoy food at one of the many restaurants, cafes Cardigan has to offer. My personal favourite Pizza Tipi. Cardigan also offers Theatre Mwldan, a 3 screen cinema and small world theatre.
